It's a good idea to wear a hat, sunglasses and don't forget to put on that sunscreen. The plexiglass canopy does let the UV rays in.

Yes, booking in advance is a good idea to avoid disappointment.

Call ahead to check the weather in Pemberton. Often the weather in Pemberton is far better than Vancouver and Whistler as well. If, however, the weather is not favorable for flying you will not be required to pay any fees.

No, the flight is completely handled by our qualified pilot. If, however, you are on a longer flight, you can ask the pilot to try your hand at the controls.

7 years of age and up. The child must be confident and comfortable enough to go up unaccompanied by their parent or guardian.

Although the weather in Pemberton is not typically
an issue, if you are heading from a farther distance we recommend
calling the evening before or morning of your scheduled flight just
to confirm. If Pemberton Soaring Centre does foresee that the
weather will be an issue and we won't be able to fly, we will
reschedule your flight at your convenience, with no charge. In the
case that you will require to cancel your flight we will require 24
hour notice, less than 24 hours cancellation notice, will be
subject to full payment.

There are several choices for Pemberton and Whistler accommodations. Choose from a wide variety of bed & breakfasts, hotels or motels to suit every taste and budget.
We offer excellent Glide & Stay packages with soaring available at the Pemberton Soaring Centre and 4-star rated bed & breakfast accommodation at the Log House Inn.

The Pemberton Soaring Centre is located at the Pemberton Regional Airport. The airport is a short drive off Highway 99 between the Village of Pemberton and Mount Currie First Nations Reserve.
